It's the season for strawberries, and I'm making the most of it. We made a trip to Santa Fe (and ran other errands, too) specifically to get a bunch of the sweet, tasty, delicious, seasonal berries. Organic ones were on sale for $1.99/lb. Wow! Twelve pounds later, we have dehydrated berries, freezer jam, and of course, lots of memories of eating the wonderful fruit by the handful. Yum!
