We went snowshoeing yesterday, taking advantage of the recent snow in the Jemez. Alanna Belle is feeling a little under the weather, so she and I did an abbreviated trek: we could still see the car from where we turned around. However, on the way back, she wanted a movie taken of her snowshoeing. Even not feeling really great, she is really enjoying getting out!

I wish I had some footage of the snowdrift Rhys and I found on the way back. It was easily 6' tall, no easy feet with a 4" snowpack. Anyway, Rhys and I took turns jumping off it. Next time I'll have a shovel and we'll dig a cave.
