Alanna got a new squeak last week. Her original squeak is a sad little raggy thing with holes and frayed edges, although it is still a favorite lovey. The local quilt store had its final clearance sale before closing its doors for good, so Alanna got to pick out the fabric she wanted for New Squeak- pink and purple were requirements. She also chose blue, which adds a nice contrast.

Truth be told, I'm pretty proud of how this Squeak came out. With nearly 3 additional years of sewing every once in a while, my technique and skill have improved since the last one, and I think this one not only will last longer, but is also a better finished product.
After New Squeak was finished, she told me, "New Squeak is my favorite out of all my Squeaks," (which number a total of two), but the next day she informed me, "Actually, Old Squeak is my favorite of all my Squeaks."
